Whether Mushareff had anything to do with the assassination or not, I don't see how he can NOT declare martial law for awhile. Things are going to be very explosive over there for some time to come. Bhutto's assassination is a major turning point for Pakistan.

YES, ABSOLUTELY. He will utilize this as an excuse to 'protect' the country from the Islamists with more security and control--and Pakistan will suffer because of it.

He will have no choice. The country will go into chaos if he doesn't. Her murder marks a very sad day for Pakistan and the world.

MOST UNFORTUNATE . TIME FOR THE PEACE LOVING MUSLIM TO RISE AGAINST FUNDAMENTALISM AND TERRORISM. MUSHRAFF MAY OR MAY NOT DECLARE EMERGENCY BUT THIS MURDER WILL TAKE PAKISTAN CLOSER TO BREAKUP.
