That really depends on the type of Haunting and the person. Some people would think being attacked physically would be, and there is the feeling of being held down in the bed that sometimes goes along with hauntings that terrifies people. My personal fear would be any sort of possession, or loss of control. But I do know people so afraid of ghosts they wont even talk about them.

Mistaken them for a living person, happened this morning.......
Wake up in the middle of the night and have one hanging from the ceiling above your bed. You realize what's going on when you're trying to figure out why there is a black man's foot hanging by your face.
See a teen run out in front of your car and you hit them as you slam on brakes and there is no bump...........
Seeing an old guy walk out into the road in the middle of the country at a curve that is the local Deadman's curve.
The list can go on and on for me.

To walk into a darkened room and catching a glimpse of something in the corner of your eye, a figure standing inches from you, only to look more carefully to see that it is not longer there, then feel a hand slowly slide up your arm.

I think that it be horrible to have an encounter with an incubus. A molester, who haunts you every night!
If you could imagine this in a human sense- it would suck!
Now, in a paranormal sense, where no one believes in ghosts, and that you could possibly be getting raped by it!
