I like;
Cleveland Pear Trees
Maple Trees of all colors
Oak Trees
Basically any tree with a lot of leaves.

I don't particularly care for Pine Trees. I like to look at them but having them in my yard poses a real problem with Mosqitoes. Years ago, where I currently live, the owners planted a bank of Pine Trees on our backyard border and they grew to nearly 50 foot tall. Well, over the years their needles just kept accumulating under them, over 4 foot deep.

Mosqitoes love that sort of thing. Ever since we eliminated them, our Mosqito problem has almost vanished.

I suppose any area where there is a lot of deep leaves can have that problem. But Pine Trees seem to be the worst.

Not sure about favourite Jo but I have always wanted a Rowan tree because it is so pretty covered with orange berries and frond like leave. Also because in ancient Egypt it was regarded as a magic tree. x

I love all plantlife but I do admire some oak trees on our property, because they are rare. We have mostly maple and soft wood trees. The oaks are more rare, and when I see them, they take on an exceptional beauty.
