it does seem a bit llike that but it is there.

It *does* have the File, Open option.

You just have to open it up to full screen mode so that the tool bar at the top appears, or right click the Windows Media Player icon in the top left corner to show the menu.

It still has the File things at the top just hit Alt once and they shuold apear for a little bit untill you click somthing

Right-click the top section, then choose File->Open from the right-click menu. If you want the old style menu system, either from the right-click menu choose View->Classic Menu or press CTRL+M.

u can use ctrl+O to open files else right click on top of the player u can get options
