I've been seeing this person for several months already. I found out that he's friends with this girl for 2 years already and he really likes her. He would buy flowers to her and said all the sweet stuff to her. On the other hand he got me, but I think I'm just a second option sometimes. He said he do want a gf but don't like to rush and let what ever happens happen. He gave me hints and lead me one, saying that it could be me many times. I've been waiting for him...but I feel like he's just waiting for the other girl or doesn't know what to do right now. I feel like she's the top priority and I'm just an option...a second choice. Every time I tried to move one and not contact him, but a few days later he'll contact me and it goes in the circle again. HOW CAN I KEEP MYSELF FROM FALLING TOO HARD FOR HIM? What can I do? He keep me hanging around and stringing me along. I can't completely ignores him everytimes he contact, we're not bf and gf yet so I can't tell him what to do or not. sometimes I want to move on, but I failed cause he'll lead me once again.?

him and her are just friends, but he surely likes her more than just a friend.

The only problem that I can see it that you are expecting too much from him right now. If he is going to get over this other person you need to back away and give him not only the space but the responsibility to do that. So that he can be clear headed and know what he wants next.

Friend..he is just like any other man on this earth. Forget him. He is just trying to keep an alternative with both of you. If you say 'yes' for an uncertain relationship, knowing that you are falling in a well in the broad day light..then you will be the biggest fool on this earth. He is just trying to be over smart. Or may be by nature he lacks stamina to take right decisions. Why do you want to get stuck with a flicky guy like him? Just move on. Concentrate more on the work or studies..whatever you are doing..and wait for the right man to walk into your life. Love happens instantly..not by vigorous planning. So forget him.

I think that you need to tell him its over because you dont feel like he is 100% yours - this is what you should do and see if he runs you down...if he does not - then you mean nothing to him and he should be with the other girl...if he chases you then it means that he realises that you do actually mean something to him. Whatever happens keep smiling girl there are other nice men out there.

how can you keep yourself from falling to hard from him?

simple. if he isnt willing to leave her for you then that answers your question. what a low life he is. by the way why would you want to wreck a 2 year relationship? how do you think she feels about this.

tell him its either me or her, not both of us.

if he choses her then simple, he chose you SECOND not FIRST so why would you want to be with him anyway???

why would you want to be with him anyway???!!!!! he is pretty much cheating on her with you so if you go out with him he is only going to do the same to you when he finds someone better!!!

he is not worth your time.

Make up your mind about this guy. Give your self a chance by allowing other guy to give you attention. Another who would really be interested to have you as his girlfriend, care and respect you.

You need to look for someone who wants you to be his number one. Have enough self esteem to move on.

He already has a girlfriend he cares about. You can only be a friend to him.
