my bff told tht he is pedo that he likes girl 13 and younger he is 18 he told me that one yr ago when he was 17 he had sex with a girl that was 11

should she go to a mental institution(cuckoo house)or is not that serious and he can go to a psychiatrist

what it sounds like is a man who may need to figure out why he likes young girls. There is possibly more to it than simply being a pedophile, which he is, there's a reason as to why.

He may need to evaluate his past and himself. He may need to look at what his life is today. How he feels about things. It may at first seem scary for the help he'll need but he has to seek it or else he'll spend his life being an addict to a pleasure that could cost him his life.

A doctor may help. There is such a thing as patient/doctor confidentiality. So since there is a history of this behavior that a doctor will need to know about , he could share freely and not worry about going to jail for seeking help. I will say this, where there is confidentiality there is also anonymity so there's always a possibility that someone will drop a dime on him but he'll have to want the help enough not to care.

I would suggest reporting him especially if he doesn't see it as a problem and won't get help for it. You'll probably need to tell the girls parents, or the authorities can. He's already committed statutory rape. It won't get better with time, chances are it will get much worse. It's not really something that can be cured at a shrinks office.
