Are you ugly? That's probably why he forgot your name. Usually ugly chicks are the forgettable ones. I wouldn't worry too much about it though, maybe you're funny. That's always... well it's not really better than being pretty, but you'll probably have a couple best guy friends... that are geeky film students. They'd probably find a girl who's just way prettier than you... I'm not saying you're ugly, but if you are then you're pretty fuucked. You're PRETTY fuucked... but eh, you might find an ugly dude, and you guys might make a great couple. Like the ugly ducklings that never made it to swanhood. You guys will be like uh... Will and Grace, except you'll both be Will... so what? Will and Will? Sounds pretty damn good to me, I think I hear another 7 year run coming on. Well, I hope I was of assistance so, I will bid adieu, hopefully you are not as ugly as I am imagining and describing. If you're not, this entire thing wouldn't apply to you... but it probably does, so I don't know why I'm going on about 'ifs'. Much love Duckling

Because he actually did forget your name. I'm also hopeless with people's names but I never forget a face. I am busy looking at people's eyes when I am introduced to them so that I can make an assessment of what kind of person I perceive them to be. Sometimes the details of the name slip by... especially if introduced in the company of numerous others.

You know.. he is confident enough to approach you and ask... and he could only be asking because he wants to know.

Hey..at least the guy was honest enough to admit that to you. He may fancy you. Why would he even bother to ASK for your name again in the first place if he didn't? If he doesn't know you hardly at all, THAT might be the reason for his forgetfulness.

We are sometimes like that. We tend to be either name-droppers or face-droppers! that's it. But we don't mean to offend girls just like that. Maybe he seldom meets you in school or something and totally forgets your name.

Honey, he has a condition that I have also, but, I did not start getting it until I turned 70, he is pre-maturely getting old. Now where did I place those dentures and glasses?

it doesnt matter.well, to answer the question, because your'e not a big part of his life. you cant expect someone to remember you're name or even like you if you get so shy every time he comes into a room you stop speaking and go into a corner.if you want him to remember your name, start becoming a part of his life and MAKE him remember your name!

That was what happened with me also! He was the first one who knew me first and he acted like her forgotten my name to get my attention... I think. He might be doing so to get your attention. And what happened to both of us was that we become to know each other much more and are now great friends.
