No you shouldnt be ashamed, you should only be ashamed if you choose not to like him because of what other people think. There opinions mean nothing. oonlything that matters is that you like him.

The only things you should be ashamed about are thinking that he's ugly, unpopular, and that nobody likes him. You like him so somebody likes him. I'll bet more than that. Ugliness is just an opinion and how someone looks should depend on what the person means to you. Finally he's popular in the right crowd. And that's the crowd that you should respect.
So don't let other people make your decisions for you. If you go for the popular guys, you won't be going for them because they match you, you'll be going for them for a superficial unimportant reason. You should be proud.

No, you shouldnt be ashamed, actually. I dont know what you mean by ugly, or unpopular. You havent said too much about his personality and the REASON why you like him? Is he shy? Considerate? Different traits would determine if you should actually be ashamed or not!
But I personally think you shouldn't be ashamed. Uniqueness is what makes us different and special. Find out why you like him, and if its a good reason, then keep liking him!
=) best wishes

No, you like who you like for a reason. But if he was a really good looking, popular jerk who kicked puppies- now that should make you ashamed. I had a crush on a guy in way back in junior high who was considered sort of nerdy but once my group found out about it they kind of looked at him differently and saw his potential. I went to his engagment party years later, he ended up going into the military and was a fantastic guy.

hello!
don't even think that you should be ashamed.
isn't he a human being too? it's not fair for him to live an awful and lonely life because we might feel sorry about him.
you should be proud of yourself because you like this guy, you saw something good at him that nobody else has seen. that means that he is worth it.
who knows mamby if you show him your feelings you can help him become a better man, popular and more happy. You would make his life look better and more interested.
Just try it and don't feel bad. Just be careful and don't hurt him if you feel that someone is laughing at you. People are bad, you don't have to be one of them.

No you shouldn't. If you like him go for it. Don't worry about what everyone thinks about him.
Here's a cool fact: most /some of the "cool" guys in school end up working in crappy professions . Where-as The Unpopular guys/NERDS who never really had friends in school end up being very successful.
So what if no one likes him... Maybe they just don't know him like u do.
Good Luck

No why be ashamed? If you really like the guy then why not? Don't put up with friends if they teased you about him. They not worth it if they are like that. If you like the guy then go for it!! He could be way more mature than the popular boys around!

You should not be ashamed. Rather, you might be ashamed of others whose poor behavior excludes this guy from group acceptance.
PS: Liking guys at 13 is one thing. Mom, please keep dating off for a few more years!
