confidence is something that comes from within, not just the way you carry yourself alone, but it's everything all together starting from your inner-self, your thoughts all the way down to the way u glance, sit, talk, looks, and your every moves...and i'll tell u, my friend.. she'll be able to tell if u're faking it too.

I wouldn't say that is the case all the time. Body language can be a indicator of confidence. There are times that mabe your body language is reflecting your mood rather than your confidence. I think you tell by talking with someone for a while if they have confidence.

I am not sure what other women are looking fo rin a man but confidence, honesty (if that still exsist), and a great sense of humor.

Yeah, we can usually tell. Sometimes its obvious--the guy has closed and withdrawn posture, keeps his distance from the group, may try extra hard to seem "cool" and aloof by pretending to be a "dark intellectual". Also, a guy with not much confidence may (or may not) be sweet, but he will stick to practically any girl who is kind to him like glue. They are prone to being clingy.

'Course, a couple times I've gotten to know a guy and assumed he was very confident and self-assured (even a little vain), only to discover that he feels shy and nervous too, sometimes.

Girls want guys who are a little on the cocky side, but who are fair and kind to others and know how to lose gracefully. How can someone be cocky and kind? A cocky is playfully competitive, but never a bad sport.

Yes, we can tell.

For example if you and i are sitting on a couch, and you are sitting there rigid and strait and trying to be polite, Not looking at me in the eyes, nervous laughing, playing with your hair, playing with your thumbs, fixing your clothes, moving your feet, and your body is tense and away from me, obviously you are NOT confidant.

Now, a confidant guy would be sitting how they feel comfortable without looking like a slob. Looking at me in the eyes. Talking to me, smiling. Casually toucching my shoulder to tell me something. Also if your body is angled towards me it also means you are interested OR that you are confidant (or both!)


What i look for in a guy is genuine compassion in the world.
I don't want a guy who sees negative in everything that happens.
Confidance is great, over confidance and ********* is not.
he HAS to make me laugh. I mean, really laugh. not, half heartedly chuckle because i am trying to be polite but an actual genuine laugh. I'd like him to be smart enough to hold a conversation with me. Also smart enough to know, when I am wrong not to rub it in my face and show off how smart he is. lol. Im a woman what do you expect? Also, He has to be tolerant. As I am very difficult to be around. Not because I am mean but because I am weird. I takl about weird things. I can be loud. I have A D D. anddd of course good hygiene.


Some physical aspects of a guy that personally i like, are eyes. I love nice dark eyes. preferably green but obviously thats the last thing i care about (is looks in general) a nice smile. I also kind of like chubby boys. haha. I'm not fat, but i like boys with a little extra meat, and not stick figured. :)

its true, by the way they stand and even the way they dress- its how they put them selves together and how they carry themselves.
personally I think the confidence part is just what grabs a girls attention, its all about a guys personality. And that you cant change, its just a match or not.

Oh yes, Guys need to look a girl in the eye, be able to laugh at himself, not put down others to make himself look better, be courteous, chivalrous, take care of those around them, have a love for life, and not be abusive/overbearing in anyway. Sounds good huh?

Guys that smile and laugh a lot. They don't have to be the funniest guy or the most sarcastic (a real turn off to some girls), but if they are pleasant to be around, chances are someone is noticing.

you just know as you get older with life, you see different people with different personality and eventually you'll just know it.
