get him up earlier in the morning and reduce the amount of nap time during the day, he will go to bed earlier, keep this up for at least 2 weeks and you will have changed his schedule.

There is not really any other solution. You just have to keep up the new schedule. Get him up a couple hours earlier, move his nap a bit earlier (or even skip it a day or two). A while back I had to get my girl started on an earlier bedtime/waking time routine. The naps were key. If the nap came too late, the early bedtime wasn't going to happen no matter what. And for the nap to come earlier I HAD to get her up a couple hours earlier.
Kids get very attached to routine, even routines they don't fully realize are there. You just have to commit to it. It won't happen in a couple of days, it will take a while. The more gradual the better. Maybe just 20-30 minutes earlier at first.

wake him up earlier in the day, he might be fussy for the day, but will more than likely be ready for bed earlier, also do the whole bath before bed rotuine about 45 minutes before you want him to go to bed to calm him down some.

Try changing his schedule very gradually so his body gets used to it. The first night, get him to bed just five minutes earlier, and get him up five minutes earlier next day. If that's OK, try another five minutes earlier the following night, and so on.
