Does anyone have any experience with orphanages? What does it take to start and run one?

There are very few orphanages left. Most orphaned children either go to family, or a foster home.

Foster homes have their own rules and certifications, check your area.

First, you need: experience working in an existing orhanage, professional training in working with children, professional training and experience running a nonprofit/NGO, and a huge number of references from private, public, nonprofit and religious sectors who can testify to your character and abilities.

1. First collect some orphans. Get the right to life people to help you, they seem pretty keen on the idea of breeding unwanted children.
