Mine is to leave the world a better place because I was here. And it wasn't told to me. I had to find it myself.

What's yours UP?

I think when we are young we tend to take on the expectations of those around us or at least of someone we look up to. When we grow older (up) we tend to figure out that the expectations of others doesn't fit who we really are and make a more unbiased decision as to our purpose in life.
I have been helped so much by God and others, and blessed, I feel it is my obligation and privilege to be in a position to give back and help others in whatever capacity I can

My purpose in life is to show the world one can be both atheist and sexy at the same time. It's a tough job, but honestly, who better than me?

For real, though, the purpose that I have assigned to myself is to learn and pass along my findings in the form of scholarship. Having some existential leanings, I take the phrase "life is what you make of it" to heart. I get to choose what my life means and no one else.

I've created my own purpose, no one handed it to me. My purpose is to live my life the best that I can while making myself and those I love happy and content. Also, it's helping my community and humanity in what ways I can contribute to make this a better place for everyone. That's all I need.

The most profound things in life are realized for ourselves not told to us by others because to truly understand and take the lesson as our own we must live it.

I'm learning part of my purpose as I go, always searching and learning, always trying new things.

Not to become stagnant. Always keep moving, never find a comfy place to curl up and wait to die. I don't want to be one of those people. I don't think I have one particular purpose... life is ever changing and nothing can stay exactly the same..If it does? You're not living.

My purpose is to teach and unify people. I also carried my families name on. My grandfather wanted one of his grand sons to carry on the Driver family name. Well I have 4 boys to carry the name. So now I have to teach them how to be great "Driver men". This is part of my purpose.

All life is here for the purpose of God!

We are not the owners of ourselves, we belong to the Most High God, and He will do with us as His will commands.

God Bless You

Sorry, but your question is not truly 'profound'. No one is told their 'purpose' - not even Mary or Jesus. We have to figure it out for ourselves, and we often don't know it until long after we've accomplished it.
