The bible talks about dreams and visions but only for the glory and edification of God's church and to spread the Gospel to all the world (So we can get out of here forever...).
So if your dream comes from God, that means He has a special plan not only for you, but for both of you.
If the dream is a result of your mind organizing the the thoughts that are special for you (which is the normal function of a dream), the it might never happen, so you should pray, and ask God to give you guidance on the subject matter. God never lives a humble and sincere prayer unanswered.
God bless...

Ryan, do you have any idea why her father left the church and made her go too? I think this is worth thinking about as I do not think God would have you to be in a family where there will be automatic strife.
I feel so badly for you as it has to be very hard for you. However, you and I both know, God has all the answers! I would think you would need to talk to this young woman. However, I would certainly make sure that I was prayed up, and God was in the "drivers seat", before I attempted to do so! It is always so much easier if God is in control and work in His timing. Therefore, let's you and I, agree in prayer about this situation and let go and let God!
Blessings to you and I will keep you lifted up as you attempt to follow your heart and God's biding.

Usually the dreams and visions have to do with God's work. Gail makes a good point. God wouldn't want you in a family where there would be strife. Maybe god is preparing you for that families return, so again as Gail said, find out what happened that caused them to leave. I will pray that you have wisdom in this.

It sounds like you are fantasizing about a girl that you barely knew. Dreams mean nothing. Everyone dreams, whether these are remembered or not. Dreams are the result of our minds, filing our thoughts, during semi-consciousness.

You said you are a Christian. I think that you started that way by trusting God, why not continue in that way?
Trust God. Be content. Set yourself aside and trust Him. Ask and you shall receive.
