OK, I always said that woman are the worst enemies of a woman. So tell your gender and say if you would vote for a female president. Please do not make any references to Hillary Clinton or her politics. Pretend this is another woman from an unmentioned party.

K, first off, "women" is the plural form of "woman"
now that that's out of the way...

I'm a guy, and I would vote for a female president if :

1). I was over 18

and

2). I felt she was more qualified than the male contenders.

True. I'm a woman and sometimes I definitely feel like women are women's worst enemies.....and it has nothing to do with politics. Think about it. Women are the first to gossip or be mean to other women. They criticize each other instead of supporting or encouraging one another. If a husband has an affair, who do the women blame? The other woman....the husband only gets some of the anger while the "other woman" is condemned in society & by the wife. Women in general are usually the first to keep another woman down. Look at the feminists. Many are constantly dividing women against each other such as the homemakers versus the career women when it doesn't have to be that way.

Now as for a woman being president. Yes, I would definitely vote for a woman IF I felt she was the most qualified person but I wouldn't vote for her just because she's a woman. That job is too important to play petty sexist games with. The particular candidate you mentioned, I would never vote for because I don't trust her as far as I could throw her. It has nothing to do with her being a woman but everything to do with her as a person.

I would vote for a woman as president if I felt she had the proper qualifications and if she had many of the same beliefs on issues that I do.
In general, I think that a woman could be a womans worst enemy or not. That would depend on both women.

I think women are generally women's best friends, as well as their worst enemies. Sounds weird I guess, but that really seems to be the case.

Women often help each other out and stick together, but there are some bitter ones trying to prove themselves to be better than the rest by ruining things for other women or putting them down. I think women are generally more like best friends as long as they don't have to compete with each other. When a woman feels like she must compete with some other woman she often becomes a subtle enemy.

I would vote for a female president if I believed she would do a good job and agreed with her policies. My country (Iceland) actually had a female president for 16 years and she was just as good as the male presidents we've had.

A woman is a woman's worst enemy. But I think that a female president (depending on platform) would be great. I think the saying applies to everyday relationships and friendships, not a political candidate.

Yes I think women can be very cruel and hurtful toward other women, but what does that have to do with a woman being president? I vote on the issues, qualifications, and leadership qualities. To me, gender has little to do with any of it.

I am fourteen and a girl, and to tell you the truth it kind of is. I have noticed this that guys is simple, you fight and blah. But we females like to outdo each other, be better than the other. I suggest watching the movie Mean Girls because first of all it is one of my most favorite movies in the world, and also it shows the whole thing how it works. Luckily I am not to much into that because I seem like the queen bee sometimes, but not all of the time, and I try and not be rude.

I think the younger female set will agree with your "enemy" theory.
The more mature female would say NO to your question.
And therefore, I disagree.

I personally am SO ready for a female president, no one could do a worse job than our current Commander-in-Chief !!

well, almost...a woman's worst enemy is her period. I would vote for a president based on their beliefs and actions, not on their gender.
