Atheists don't believe in god.
How can you say something that doesn't exist, created something?

Please, this will be an uncommon answer.
Consider what you are asking. The word is translated 'day' or 'days'. But what was the word translated from?
Genesis 1:5
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
'DAY'
Strong's Number: 03117
Yowm
Noun Masculine
Definition
1. day, time, year
1. day (as opposed to night)
2. day (24 hour period)
1. as defined by evening and morning in Genesis 1
2. as a division of time 1b
3. a working day, a day's journey
4. days, lifetime (pl.)
5. time, period (general)
6. year
7. temporal references
1. today
2. yesterday
3. tomorrow
Do traditional teachings cover all the possibilities?
And what would it matter if 'Yowm' meant something other than a time we call day? What does it have to do with the resurrection of Christ?

Atheists don't believe in God so they don't say he created the world in seven days. Many Christians and Jews believe this...but your question really makes little to no sense. What do you mean about the Earth being void and without form? It's basically saying it didn't exist yet.

Thats like saying, "Why do Christians say that God doesnt' exist" or "Why do atheists believe that cows are purple?"
Where is your evidence that atheists say "God created the Earth and Universe(heavins) in seven day's"?

Read the bible more carefully next time. I think it explains in full detail in Genesis about how he created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th (essentially 7 days).

Um, honey. Atheists don't say that. They often refute bible literalists who say that.
But yes, its MUCH more reasonable that god magiced a sun and a moon making it a first day and then, on an entirely different day, magicked all the stars (which are very unlike our sun). So thanks for clearing that up!

atheists lack a belief in gods so your entire bible isn't true (to us)
You should be correcting your fellow theists who think the world was created in 7 days

Atheists don't say God created anything-- by definition, they don't believe in God.

Atheists say god isn't real. And thus created nothing.
