If it starts right up with a jump start, your battery is too old.

If it doesn't start even with a jump start, try a tune-up.

You need to tell us whether it is diesel or Petrol because if it is diesel then the glowplugs could not be working but if it is petrol then what I would do is open the bonnet and pour boiling hot water over everything except the battery then I would commence to trying to start it. This should work, if not then i don't know. You could also do that method of warming everything up on a diesel. Another reason for it not starting could be that you do not have enough anti - freeze, check your anti - freeze.

the battery freezes up and you cant start it my suggestion 1. new battery 2. keep it out of the cold

If it's a diesel engine, try replacing the glow plugs.
