idk any other person besides my dad that has been adopted..i was when i was four years old, and i had this feeling last year it started, to find my bio parrents, and then out of the blue my friend calls me up and says she just met my bio parrents, i was speach less, i met up with them a few times...they arent doin so well in money standards, but their making it, but now i'm not allowed to see them until i turn 18....and now when ever me and my mom now, have fights or arguements she'll drag my bio parrents into it and say "DO YOU WANT TO GO LIVE WITH THEM?" and idk what to answer to her question, i mean after i read/heard the reason why i was put out for adoption, i dont wanna live with my bio family, so now i'm confused and lost and dnt know what to do... so please help me..thanx

I was adopted by an American family when I was three. (I'm originally Israeli.) Although I never met my birth parents, I think it probably hurt your adopted mom that you felt the need to see your biological parents, and she might be feeling insecure.
You know what I would do, sweetie? The next time you fight and she says that, I would say, "NO, YOU'RE my parents. YOU'RE the ones who raised me, YOU'RE the ones I want to live with and YOU'RE the ones I love."
I bet she won't say it again after that. Or, if the subject comes up, explain to your parents that meeting your biological parents was just something you felt the need to do, and that's a part of your life that's over & done with now.
Hope it all works out :)
xo, Pam

My wife was adopted. She has met her biological family. It has worked out pretty well. I have concern over how your adoptive mother is treating you. You may not be the best behaved child but I personally don't think she should ever say such a thing as that. I hope you all learn to get along better.

all i have for you are questions. like how old are you now? and why did they give you up for adoption? and do you resent them (your birth parents)? and how close are you to your adoptive parents? the reason i am asking is i am curious to know what there is to do. you say you don't want to live with your bio family, but maybe your adoptive mom thinks you do. you should definitely tell her you don't. let me know what you decide to do, okay?

you must b really confused..
but theres only one thing you can do
dont let your mom controle your life
and if you dont like when she brings your bio parents into the convo then why dont you tell her... it never hurts to give your opinion about things ether...
but im not adopted so i dont know what your going threw...
but i know that your gowing threw a hard time...
so tell some one... maybe they might help you
and also if you dont want to live with your bio parents then dont... but think about your decisions... was it really there falt that they put you up for adoption??

Correction, "now when ever my mom and I have fights..."
Anyways, your fake mom is a jerk, but thats life. My step-dads an asshole but what can we do you know? I'm just waiting till I go to college so I can get out of here--it's the only solution I've come up with.
