With love you have an emotional connection with the other person. Lust is more superficial and the attraction is purely physical. You can tell the difference by the person's aggressiveness to get in your pants. Love is more profound and although physical attraction is present it is not always necessary. Look beyond the skin and see what the person has to contribute to you life.

Love is long lasting relationship between two or among more than two human beings. Whereas lust is a love which is selfish towards other human being not only for sexual relations, but also the reason may be any e.g. money, land, some thing to acquire etc. Lust is a decisive ( fool making) love.

Lust is the same as sex. Someone who went out with you after the first date wants to have sex with you. That's lust. Love involves not just attraction, but taking the time to get to know someone as well. When someone does everything for you without asking anything in return. That's love.

Love may be one of the most difficult things to ever truly describe. This is true partially because it is different for every couple and partially because it is too magical to truly put into words. Lust, however, is easy to point out. Lust is ones excessive desire for something, sexual in most cases. You can see lust when one only wants to be with someone for sexual reasons. If sexual acts are the only think keeping a couple together, that is lust and it is bound to fail.

the difference between love and lust is how much you care for the person outside the bedroom. When you love someone they become like family to you. You care for them through the good and bad. If its lust you just care about them until they do something that upsets you or that you don't like and then you dump them.

Love is enjoying spending time with the person because you enjoy their personality. Lust is wanting to be with someone for sex.

Relationships are often a combination of these two, so a given relationship probably won't fall into just one of these categories, but may be based more on one than the other.

Lust doesn't last. Love does. Lust is selfish but love is not. Lust is only looking for itself but love looks out for the other & looks for the good in the other.

Love is patient and free. It is about trust and commitment. Lust is the idea of "love" but much more rushed and only interested in looks or some kind of objective benefit. Never lasts longer than a summer haha.

I love to lust after someone - not the same as I love someone

Lust is just about sex...and love is a whole lot more...love keeps going even when the sex has stopped. It's a lot deeper. It's about being there through the good times and the worst of times, and knowing that it's exactly where you belong.
