Neuter him.

Neuter him if he isn't.
You won't change his behavior until you do.

Keep him on a leash, tied to you all the time. When he starts up, use a sharp corrective tug and a loud, firm "NO".

You have to do this EVERY SINGLE TIME he goes to hump something. Eventually, the sound will deter the behavior.
If he ignores you, get citronella stray. (it doesn't burn, dogs just don't like how it smells). When he starts up, spray him in the face, then give the corrective tug.

Praise him for NOT humping stuff. When he's doing anything but humping tell him he's a good dog.

Between "episodes" stand on the leash so that there is only enough slack to comfortably lay down. Sitting or standing should be uncomfortable.
This will make him more submissive and won't allow any opportunites for humping.

Good luck.

Neutering does help with the humping that is related to hormones. Neutered males and females still hump sometimes. That behavior is related to dominance issues and sometimes due to anxiety. Telling them "no" and removing the object or person is good enough to discourage the behavior. No need to punish, just say "no". The dog is only following instinct.

Don't worry, this isn't abnormal for male dogs (even female dogs hump things, in their own way..). My dog used to hump the vacuum cleaner. Every time he did, we turned it on. He hated the noise and the fact that it looked like it moved all by itself so eventually he stopped. Everyone else is right though, it's time to get him fixed and use the obedience techniques but don't hit him. That will only result in your own dog being afraid of you.

Neutering helps, but humping is often a display of dominance which neutering will not cure. Just say NO in a sharp voice, and distract him if it's become too much of an offense. Best of luck!

It is time to get Lawrance fixed. Sad but its time. He may be sore after and try to keep him from jumping around after, you don't want the stitches to come out. Good luck

Tell him no when he does it. Get him neutered, he is dominating people and things. You should sign up for obedience classes.. Don't buy him anything to hump, that just makes things worse and is a ridiculous idea.

get a wireless collar that sprays fluid near the dogs nose when you press a button on a wireless remote. They are effective but harmless
