I am 17 year old boy, and have pimples all over my back and chest and shoulders. Because of this I fear going to the beach or taking my shirt off in public. I think everyone will stare at me and see me as some sort of freak. Especially the girls. My mates always invite me to beach parties, but I always make excuses not to go. I need help, wt should I do?

I had this problem. From my experience i would say try over the counter body washed but dont waste alot of time on them. In about 2 weeks if it doesnt improve definitly go see a dermetologist...I had that same problem for about 3 years and tried everything. As soon as i went to the doctor and he gave me a pill for the acne it went away in about 1 month and i havnt had a problem since. Good luck!! the only problem is when u go on these pills ur skin becomes sensitve and sometimes u cant go in the sun1!! So u may have to stay of the beach for awhile but it will be worth it in the long run and u wont be embarassed!!! Good luck!!ur doc will tellu whats best for u..if he says try topical cream first..insist u get an oral pill!!!

ok basically ive been in your position and it literally SUCKS ! but what you have to do is not worry, because all of your friends have the same problem, theyre all sitting thinking about their flaws and theyre worried what other people might say about them. What you have to do is to that beach other party take your shirt off and not care once in a while, but at the same time do do treatments to help it start clearing up and when you start getting positive results from your treatments people WILL NOTICE ! You jsut have to be confident, you being confident will help others be confident about themselves meaning they will want to be around you more :) :)

there are medicated body washes around...i know that neutrogena makes a good one. you can find them at drugstores, grocery stores, pretty much anywhere. if that doesnt solve the problem, see a dermatologist. when you go to the beach, you can wear a t-shirt the whole time, even in the water. if someone asks about it, just say you wear it so you wont get sunburned! hope this helps :)

You can try acne body washes. I've heard they work really well. If this doesn't help, I'd go see a dermatologist. If it's going to keep you from doing things you want to do, have a professional take care of it.

You should see a skin specialist for help. Your condition needs to be treated. He or she will give you instructions on what to do and the proper medication.
