I try really hard to believe in Jesus and God, but it seems like he never does anything. I have so many doubts. Help? I continue to sin no matter how hard I try.

Jesus will accept you while you are a sinner ... so put the guilt behind you and trust in Jesus ..

You are going to sin, because you are human . Thank Adam & Eve for that. I hate sinning too, but the reason I hate it is because I've disappointed God. But the closer I become to God, the easier it is to confess my sin to Him. Guess what?? He forgives me because He sent his Son to earth to die for my sins. Amazing, isn't it? All you have to do, is repent and try not to do it again. But if you do, just ask God for forgiveness. He will. I have noticed that I forgive myself LESS than God does. That's because I sometimes can't believe that He's forgiven me. If you go to church, that is re-affirming, of course depending what church you go to. You have to find a church that teaches the Bible but fits you too.

God is always doing things in our lives. If you are in a prayer group---we have only 3-4 people in our group at work---you will notice all that He does. He answers prayer & does miraculous things all the time. But I was like you before I started to really get into God's Word and prayer groups. That's when I started noticing what God does do! Don't worry about your doubts. We have all had them at one time or another. Just pray thru them and God will answer any questions you have.

Blessimgs. I will be praying for you.

You're not the only one.

I think that every person; believer in God or not, has a similar period of time through their life. It's a time of doubt and confusion; a feeling or illusion of need for something more.

Just keep looking. Maybe there's something, or someone out there, that you're missing. That turned out to be the case, with me, when I was "confused" about my faith.

Good luck :]

God is a myth, and Jesus is a legendary figure at best. Go live your life without concern for these imaginary things.

Religion is stressful...go to Jesus, his yoke is easy and his burden is light...

cry out to the Lord to change your heart and open your eyes...

email me if you would like to talk more...

Jesus died on the cross so that if we believe in him we dont have to die and go to hell but we can die and spend eternity with him..he has done enough...

You are afraid and have doubts because you have not given yourself totally to God. Your prayers are answered, it may not be the answer you want, God answers prayers according to His will for your life, not your will

If you find your particular religion to cause harm to you mentally, then clearly it isn't the right one for you.
