Oh, they got that all worked out by the 24th Century (or whenever; I can't remember when the Classic series was supposed to take place)...then break up your soul into itty bitty bits and transport it right along with your atoms. It's very technologically sophisticated.

seeing that the soul is interior the physique and a few have confidence that it extremely is integrated with the actual actual atoms of the physique, the transporter could in all hazard deliver the soul with the physique. And if that technologies grew to become into obtainable, i think of that they could have the potential to artwork by those varieties of device defects.

lmao. You are funny. Not too smart, but funny.
Not being of physical substance, the transporter had no effect on the souls. They remained intact, which made it possible for the bodies to be reformed around them.
At last count, there were no Captain Kirks in heaven...they never made it.

By Christian rules none of them are going to heaven anyway --
Gene Rodenbery's story was that none of earth's religions persisted into that period. So none of them believed in JC and therefore none were saved.
Outside of Christian rules I'd guess the souls projected astraly after their bodies.
Anyhow - considering Kirk's randiness - an awful lot of religions wouldn't let him into heaven aanyhow.
