OK. First, how are you getting your programming? Cable? Satellite? Over the air?

You need to have an HDTV signal. If through cable or satellite, do you subscribe to their HD service? Is the receiver box an HD box?

Secondly, assuming you do have HD service and appropriate hardware, how are connecting that to the TV? Which cables? Is it HDMI, DVI or Component cables (5 cables)? Those are the only cables that will support HD?

Read the INSTRUCTION BOOK from beginning to end to become "acquainted" with your TV set....

It'll be faster and better than "guessing" what is wrong here.....

Yep, my first SONY back in the 80's was soooo complicated, that I spent 6 HOURS guessing why I couldn't get a picture.....

THEN I spent ONE HOUR reading the setup part of the manual and it was FULLY Functional......

Sheesh, why didn't I do that in the FIRST PLACE ?!!

So, read your manual.....Fix it right the first time....
