Interesting prospective. Does that same "theory" work for atheists as well? Because I KNOW that there is no god, am I being ignorant in my knowing, or should I believe that there is no god? Also do you know that what you type is accurate or do you believe it is?

Because people don't know but believe they know! Belief is good when you believe and seek Him the way any religion advocates but religious dogma and fanaticism make you feel omniknowledgeable. The rationale starts giving way to intolerance and the more their belief is contradicted they feel they 'know' whatever they feel and believe they know for sure .The vicious cycle is evident and the Guru or the Preacher or Ulema have a great role to play in differenciating all these contradictions but many times they aggravate it for different reasons .One who really knows ,knows that loving fellow human beings whatever their faiths might be is the ultimate dictum and believes in it. What should be done with a believer or an atheist is GOD's domain ,none of business of yours or mine.

I agree completely.
As an atheist, I don't know that there is no god, but I see no reason to believe in one.
Of course, I think there's very, very little that anyone can really, "know".
I think the reason people take belief and propel it into the realm of knowledge is that it's easier and more comfortable to settle on some answer than it is to keep your views open to scrutiny.

Blarp- Calling a canine a 'Labradoodle' is insulting. why no longer basically say Lab/Poodle mixture? it quite is basically 3 characters longer than that derogatory cutesy term. If somebody ever advised me my Lab/Collie mixture grow to be a Labrollie or some thing the two stupid, they could be rapidly reported of in simple terms how stupid they are rather, comparable as people who tell me all approximately their kind new Puggadoo or their uncommon breed Pommirottiwow. they do no longer own a particular clothier breed. They own an unspecial, difficulty-unfastened as muck mutt. and that i, besides as each properly knowledgeable canine proprietor and lover could desire to, will proceed to tell them that. My canines circulate by applying the words Bitser, Mutt, Mongrel, Mixer, crosses.... something like that. i hit upon people telling me that they own a Chiweeniedoodlepoo insulting to my intelligence, and insulting to canines. don't get me incorrect. I frigging love my mutts. i like all mutts. I hate clothier canines. i'm no longer able to take some thing referred to as a Shihtpoo or a labradoodle heavily. it quite is a comic tale, and a foul one at that.

>> ...saying you know something that's impossible to absolutely
>> know just sounds ignorant.
It is only your opinion that it is "impossible" to know. Therefore, you are being offensive, ignorant, and arrogant when you claim that I cannot know something which I have actually and physically experienced. Yes, that's right. I've actually and physically experienced a direct answer to prayer from God. So, I guess you don't really "know" so much as you "think" you know!
God bless.

well u dont sound christian so im guessing u dont KNOW. christians dont believe that god is definite. the first comandment is, you shall BELIEVE in one god. its not you shall know of only one god. seeing the connection? this is a common mistake and i agree 100%. but only partially agree with your example. christians may say that but in saying that, they're not right. that's not what the bible says, that's just what they say. and its perfectly fine for them to have theyr opinions but they are wrong to say know. and why do they mix it up? because they are only human, no one is perfect, especially in the religous area.

I agree. It's kind of arrogant and nieve to claim to know something that is so abstract that no one could possibly know for sure. But it does work the same way for people who are atheist or of other faith. Like if someone says they know their is no god they also cannot know that for sure.

I know there is no "god".
The burden of proof is in the hands of believers of imaginary entities, quoting passages from a book written by disillusioned men does not constitute proof.

There is a truth greater than that which you can see physically.
This truth comes by revelation of God.
Some believe and others know God.
You believe there is no god and I KNOW God.
Edit to I DRAW
It is impossible to be a Christian and not KNOW God.
Mat. 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
A personal relationship with God is necessary to your salvation it is God that sustains you.

I, like most Christians know Jesus is real. You do not know because you live for you and are to selfish to live for another. Not to offend you and all but We know because when we accepted Jesus as Lord He revealed Himself to us, and if you would just believe, then He would come to you as well so you can KNOW the truth that makes you free.
