God doesn't directly punish us, but we have to accept the consequences of our sin. If I have sex outside marriage(which is a sin according to the Bible) and get an STD, that's a consequence that I'll have to deal with, but does that mean I'm not going to heaven? No. Jesus paid my debt, but I still mess up. And if you truly love Jesus, you'll want to become like him, and that means doing your best not to mess up, but still knowing that it's OK if you do. Jesus forgives.

Well even after we accept Jesus Christ. we dun purposely sin knowing "oh u kno no punishment since i accepted him". im prolly hypocritical but we shud accept him and be the best Christian we can be. and God will forgive wen we have a sincere heart and repent.but this shud help us not repeat the same sin right?. whats the point of sinning n repenting and repeating it? but by loving others and helping others and sharing the word of God. and believing and "accepting",and full heartedly accepting him will get us into heaven

When a person accepts Jesus they will do their utmost best not to sin, or live in sin, because they want to please their "father the Lord".
That doesn't mean they aren't going to commit a sin, because there are no absolute righteous people; but living in the Father makes it easier not to sin, or live in sin.
Yes, accepting Jesus Our Lord is getting their name written in the Book of Life, and that is the guarantee of going to Eternal Life in Heaven.......But, if one does accept Jesus as Lord, yet continues to live in sin or sin, there will be retributions for the decisions they are making.
Which leaves us all with the question; did one really accept the Lord as their Savior, or did they just go thru the motions of doing so.......Their actions and their life will reflect that decision made......
When one is saved, they will do a turn about,,,changing all in their life,,,,and do their best to live life as righteously as they can,,,,,being in the image of God............

no it happens when you repent of your sins, admitt your a siner, know Jesus and if your read the bible and is a believer in him but you will get a punishment and it's Jesus who tells your parents to do it so you'll learn from your sins even though you've accepted him you still will make sins because nobody has never not done a sin that's because nobody's perfect but only Jesus is.

Some people are afraid of breathing, some afraid of crowds, some afraid of spiders, some afraid of death. Everyone is going to die sooner or later. Some debate about eternal life but everyone leaves their physical body on the ground. Some people spend a lot of time worrying about the inevitable and nothing they can do or say will stop death.
If you can't change it, if you can't influence it, why spend any time worrying about it. Move on to your business. Death is someone elses business.
I just pray God isn't too picky. Or not.

Lucifer believes in God and accepts Jesus as the saviour. Lucifer does not get saved by this. Pontious Pilate believed Jesus to be whom He claimed. Pilate did not act on this belief. Pilate's wife believed in Jesus, begged Pilate to free Him, and when Pilate refused she left Pilate and hid with Mary the mother of Jesus and Mary Magdeline. She became one of the early Church saints and was an active disciple of Christ. Pilate died in ignominy a short time after the crucifixion. His fate in the hereafter is unknown.
So I would say that faith, without good works, is hollow, as demonstrated by reality and proclaimed by the apostles Peter and Paul.

No matter what, if you accept jesus, the likelihood that you will go to heaven is exactly the same as if you believed that cutting your ear off and eating it would. Honestly, no one has spoken to god, no one as in NO HUMAN in the history of HUMANS. No one has been to heaven either. How can you listen to someone spew on about this nonsense describing how you get to heaven? They don't have a clue, they are repeating bible verse from a book written by a ruling class that decided exactly what they wanted the people to believe, and left out parts that they felt would work against their ultimate goal....control. Control of your mind, the most valuable commodity in the world.

Some Christians say that, but Jesus himself said that is not true:
Matthew 7:21-29 - http://scriptures.lds.org/en/matt/7/21-29#21
21 ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

no . they must apply the plan of salvation to their life. ( acts 2:38) and if someone does sin after that they have an advecate with the father that they can go to him and ask him for forgiveness. we are human and God knows that yet he loves us sooo much.
