He invents a bunch of problems for you that don't even exist, wants you to pay him a bunch of money, and not ONLY does he not fix the problems that are REALLY there, he just makes them worse.

St Louis girl:

E.g. of invented problems: fire and brimstone.

E.g. of charging money: the collection plate.

E.g. of not fixing problems: still plenty of wars, violence, hunger, pain & suffering in the world today.

E.g. of making problems worse: Inquisition, crusades, persecution of various groups throught time, religious wars, etc.

I do apologize if you aren't familiar with any of these phenomenon; I assumed they were sort of common knowledge...

Hello:

"Christianity itself doesn't create problems. Christianity can't make problems worse."

And on these points, it seems, we disagree...

Makes sense to me..the only difference between the two is millions of people have been killed in the name of Christianity...a mechanic is most likely to kill your bank account.

Christianity is a religion. You choose to believe in it. Christianity itself doesn't create problems. Christianity can't make problems worse. Christianity is a believe, and therefor you would make the problems yourself. You can choose not to go to the bad mechanic. You make your own choices, christianity or Jesus doesn't.

'those who die in My name would gain new life and those who do evil in MY name shall lost theirs' or something like that.
man invented d problems of war by allowing his flesh to take over as the flesh loves wreaking havoc. The paying of any money is 'tithing' or offering. Tithing-10% of your earnings and offering is what is in your heart to give. becareful some 'churches' ask for stipulated, high amount for 'contributions' which is totally wrong. and lastly, HE fixes the problems but not in the way we expect. Remember Man's thinking is not that of God''s.

Are you referring that God invents a bunch of problems for us? If so, then you really have the wrong view of Christianity. YOU create YOUR OWN problems. You make your choices and God is the one you tries to help you get yourself out of your own mess. And what church are you going to that makes you pay a bunch of money? It's called giving, and it's your choice to give to your church the recommended tithe, but it isn't forced upon you. Maybe pick up a Bible before damning God and Christianity. Then look in a mirror and figure out where YOU went wrong in YOUR OWN life and start making better choices.

That's not a bad auto mechanic...that's an EXCELLENT AUTO MECHANIC!!!
He feeds you a bunch of bull, you believe it, he charge you for fantasies, you buy them, and he keeps you coming back to give him more money putting the fear of "God" by telling you if you don't, you'll be stranded in the middle of the road.

Your little simile would be better if it was actually saying something. Can you back this up with some facts supporting these statements? Until you can do that, I'll just answer your question with a "no, not really".

Well, with all due respect, I don't think that your opinion is right.

I am not christian, so you dont't have to worry :]

some people like some religions, others like other religions. their belief is their belief, your your belief is your belief.

just beacuse you believe in something, it doesnt mean that everyone will join you.

and yes, you are right indeed. some religions do have flaws, but its the flaws that make them real. their is no PERFECT religion, just ones with perfect ideas.

yes, some do create problems, but which ones dont?

all of them do.
your on the right path! follow ur belief and you will be respected.

And like one REALLY crooked auto mechanic, Christianity has been known to even beat people up for not paying into its "services".

WOW, that is an interesting way to view things; God as bad mechanic.
Maybe that is why we don't have peace on earth, God can't fix it.
