Yes, Rosacea is a likely culprit. Here's another link:

A tip from healthboards.com:
I have had really red cheeks all my life, and I know how embarrassing it is, especially when you blush, etc. Luckily, I have found a solution that I have been doing for at least three years now: simply apply foundation every morning. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but simply dotting a little on your cheeks every morning takes about 30 seconds and lasts all day, and if you have a good foundation (I use TruBlend) and you blend it evenly, it is pretty much indetectable. Of course you can't wear it in every situation (it comes off when you're swimming or sweating a lot) but I find that it really helps me day to day.

It constructive can. Are you nursing her? Does she have a temperature? enormously a low grade temp - like ninety 9 - or one hundred - does her nostril run? Does she have loose stools? All of those issues point out teething. Is she cranky, attempting to gnaw on her nipple ( needless to say you would be attentive to that if it have been yours!) yet on the bottle nipple. it quite is annoying on those wee ones to get the teeth via and if she's beginning up at considered one of those youthful age you're gonna have a protracted street. reliable success.

You most likely have a skin condition called Rosacea. This condition is genetic and that's why your brother also has this skin problem.

Go here if you're that worried: www.rosacea.org

I think your best bet is to see a Dermatologist who will be able to tell you exactly what's wrong. I may be a family trait and you may have to live with it as hard as that may be, but I'm sure you're a nice person and that's important.

Could be just a natural flush, or you may have rosacea, a skin condition which can be treated with anti-inflammatory agents.

It could be sensitive skin. Go see a dermotologist and they should be able to help you. If it is, then just use a clenaser and face lotion for sensitive skin.

it could be rosacea, or you could have, when you were young, popped blood vessels in your cheeks.

really pale people also turn pink and then red when they spend too much time in the sun. do you do this?
