The tiger was killed because he killed two people and had attacked two other people, as well as attacking the keeper a year ago.
How do you think the families or loved ones of the people killed felt about them being attacked on Christmas. Grow up.
Once an animal like that becomes a killer ,it's the most kind thing you can do to take it out.
They still don't know how it escaped from it's enclosure but since this is not its first offence, they killed it as quickly as possible.
What would you have prefered a trial deciding whether the Tiger was innocent or not?
Animal rights are a wonderful thing and I support them, but I also support people's rights not to be attacked when they have done nothing to anger the tiger.

They killed it because it was attacking and had already killed someone and attacked another and it was coming toward them. The person to get mad at is the person that let this tiger out. Jack Hanna is quoted as saying that there is no way this tiger could have gotten out of the enclosure. That means something else happened. All animals in zoos and all domesticated animals rely on humans for their good care. Someone is at fault for both the tiger's and the young man's death. There will be witnesses. Let them come forward so that the truth will come out before we blame anyone.

How would you feel if a tiger killed your child on christmas day? How would you feel if a tiger almost killed two of your sons on christmas day and left them scared for life if they live. If a human being killed and maimed like that he/she would get the death penalty.

I'll tell you how...
With more humanity than the tiger showed 3 human beings on Christmas Eve. I know it was an animal, but it had a hunger for human flesh. That was already proven before these 3 people were mauled. That particular tiger could no longer live with a yearning like that.

Because the tiger killed one person and severely injured two more. They had to kill it before it attacked again. If there was a human serial killer running around murdering people would you say "oh, let him go, it's Christmas"?

Look at all the thumbs down from the PETA people! It makes me sick that a 17 year old person dies and 2 more are in the hospital and the tiger gets sympathy. What's next? A lawsuit for police brutality?
What if it was your child?

I know when I first heard this I was really sad. But I was watching the news and heard something that made me feel better. They said that even if the police had not have shot the tiger, they would have had to kill her anyway. The reason is the second that they kill a human or attack one, they instantly think of humans as food. So her doing that trained her to think of humans as food, so she would have had to been euthinized anyway. As an animal lover it is still sad to hear about, but I totally understand why they did what they did. I just want to know how she got out...
