Some did at one point, Lucifer and his followers. I don't think the others are going to make the same tragic mistake.

They can -- because they have free will just as we do -- but they won't. At least, not anymore. Just the fact that there was war in Heaven (Rev. 12:7-9) shows that the first sin was committed in Heaven. Once the remaining angels witnessed what Lucifer did to the Son of God (at the cross), there was no longer any doubts in their minds as to the nature of his claims and, thus, no longer a possibility for sin in those which remained.
Before this earth was created, one-third of the angels did that very thing -- they sinned. The remaining two-thirds sided with God when Lucifer fomented his rebellion (Rev. 12:3,4). I'm sure, though, that they had questions. All was made clear at the cross. Only us humans remain to be convinced -- but that day is coming.
God bless.

Yes , that is how the cherub satan convinced 1/3 of the angels to rebel and leave heaven thinking one day they will over power God. After Judgment day God will destroy heaven and earth ( which is tainted with sin ) and make a New heaven and earth perfect and no sin ever again .

Yes, they can sin. Look at Satan! He was like God's favorite angel but he chose to sin and now he's ruler of this sinful world if you know what I mean. God gave all angels the choice to follow him or to leave him so they have a choice. And to all you people that say sin isn't aloud in heaven are wrong. How do you think Satan talks to God? He comes into heaven and talks to God (in a NON worshiping manner! duh!) and he's just one huge being of sin and hate and lies.

Although the devil was an angel, he sinned here on earth.
The bible does not say it specifically, that I recall, but I believe God prohibits evil from his "home" in heaven.
He gives freedom of will on earth, to see who will truely chose to serve Him, freely, out of love.
But it would not really be "heaven" if evil was allowed. So I think the freedom to sin is NOT there. If you want to sin, you can go to hell.
Jesus promised us, "no more pain, and no tears" there. So I guess no evil either!!!
Freedom FROM evils, bad habits and addictions is far preferable to freedom to chose those things. I can live with that! Cabn't you?
If any one, man or angel, thinks that limitation will make heaven unfair, they can go elsewhere.
They will soon see what a hell this life was for innocents on this sin-cursed earth, when there is none to mitigate the evil there where sinners go.

MAN has free will.
The angels didn't even get a bible for crying out loud ! They have had their civil rights revoked, and are in this regard outranked by their very charges--the mere mortals called men !!!!
This is disgraceful ! The only thing that keeps them from protesting is apparently that they seem to be happy this way. The one exception I would gather is probably Satan, and to show his displeasure he takes it out on God by tempting man to sin. Since God has a sense of humor He lets man squirm with his choice but recognizes that if man decides in favor of Satan then he(man) rightfully belongs with
Satan (notice I did not say it makes the man happy!)
Men who have ascended to heaven are rightous (by definition) and do not care to sin so thus are indirectly prohibited from sinning by exclusion ! Afterall heaven is not at all a democracy--how could it be with civil rights abuses like the aformentioned !
So if you get to Heaven and find a politician there is at least some chance that he is not really dead, and regardless, when he gets caught he'll get kicked out !
So I draw from this that heaven is attractive to politicians--after all it is not a real democracy, free will can be championed there ! In so doing they are bound to run afoul of the strictures in effect there and, still retaining some of their civil rights about which they are so particular, are thus the most likely to sin while present there.
Anyway one can easily see why God would be angered by these actions, agitating for civil actions in efforts to restore rights, and ban them from Heaven altogether.

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.
If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.
First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.
How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work 100 percent of the time?
It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.
One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.
Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.
If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.
If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.
How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.
Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.
If this is the case and we are perfect creations of a perfect God then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.
How likely is that????
Think about it.

No. The Angels cannot sin. God gave man alone free will. The Angels can only obey.
