fornicate, and have puppies. My dogs are trying to, I say its not possible, but my mother in law says it is.

They are seperated, because of it. I was just wondering if we were being ridiculous buy thinking that it could happen.

Yes, it is possible. My husband and I have a male yellow lab, who at the time was 9 months old, and we adopted a female beagle/jack russell mix who got pregnant the day we got her by our yellow lab. She had to have them by cesarean because of the size difference.
My step-dad has a saint bernard who had puppies by a beagle from across the street.
We had our yellow lab neutered a week after he got our female and she got spayed immediately after her puppies came.

Oh, it's possible. True love knows no bounds, and neither does the feeling of a male dog to a female in heat. If you get them both fixed, you won't have to separate them and they can play non-stop throughout the year.

ABSOLUTELY possible. In fact, there was just a litter of Weimaraner/Dachshund pups in the ad section of our local newspaper last week. The ad opened with, "We didn't think it could happen, but it did!"
ANY combination of breeds can have pups. SPAY and NEUTER these two!

It would be extremely difficult given the height difference, but it is possible. Sperm and eggs do not care what breed they (for lack of better terms) join with. Given the chance, your boxer could possibly become pregnant. I would fix both of them so that this likelihood is not made a reality!

If he can get there, then it's possible. Not a good idea, cause you have to worry about other health problems, and issues that will come up. But it is possible.

A male dachshund would try to mate with a great dane in heat - please, get those dogs spayed and neutered, fast.
I have seen dachshund/dalmations, dachshund/chihuahuas (lots), dachshund/labs,
dachshund/bloodhounds - believe me, somewhere there are dachshund/boxers - get them fixed before you end up with a litter of mutts.
The shelters are full of dogs needing homes, please don't add more to that sad situation.

I once knew a Chi and a Shepherd that mated. The Shepherd actually laid down for him. Yes it can happen.

hahaha thats great...do u have money on it??haha thats great..but ya it is possible but kinda unlikely becuase of the height difference...so maybe if whoever is betting taht they can make pups should invest in a foot step thing so the mini dach. has a little bit of a lift and can do his job..haha this question made me laugh

The answer is yes. They can. And rather than watching to see if you can prove your point, seperate them and save the world from another litter of crossbred mongrels.
