Apply cold as it reduces swelling and blood flow to the area which may reduce your pain.

Ibuprofen-- a pain reliever and anti-inflammatory may be the best choice for headaches.

Honey...tonight please... I have a headache. All jokes aside, physiologically speaking due to the biochemistry/hormones involved resulting in a change in blood flow and pressure the best thing you could do is to become sexually aroused to climax. The old standard of NOT tonight because I have a headache would be like not wanting to laugh because you are sad. The contrary to your condition is where you will find the cure.

Do all three things as soon as you suspect you are getting a headache and there is no way you will have it continue 100% guaranteed.

If the headaches are frequent and no treatments are working, then it may be migraines... it won't kill you though. Maybe your vision is becoming more blurry and your eyes are always straining, causing a headache? Go see your doctor if the headaches are frequent.

Other than that, when I have a headache I just press on the roof of my mouth with my thumbs. I know it sounds crazy, but it works on me. It temporarily relieves the pain.

Pl try simple acupressure given below. If it fails do acupuncture.

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

It may disappear naturally too.

when i got severe migraines, i would always go to sleep for a couple of hours and after sleep, it at least feels better, and most of the time goes away.
sleep is probably the best way, but if you arent in a position to be able to sleep, then what i do is (kinda pressure point, kinda not) squeeze the area or just massage the area i'm having pain in.

I don't know what time it is where you live. Try a hot bath or drink some caffeine. Caffeine always works for me. It's the active ingredient in Excedrin too (besides acetomenaphine). Try both and see if it doesn't help. The caffeine should open up the capillaries and stop the throbbing.

I am pregnant and can't take much by way of medications. My midwife recommended taking two regular strenght Tylenol with a cup of strong coffee or other caffinated beverage. It works wonders! Other wise, just sleep it off

rub the webbing between your thumb and pointer finger in a circular motion. it is especially effective for migranes.

if its a hangover headache, drink water and gatorade. the headache is probably caused by dehydration.

Do you get them a lot?

My mother had major, splitting headaches her whole life. She tried everything. Then, one day, she had her gallbladder removed.

Poof! Not one headache since.

I was gonna try to help you but you are negative about pressure points - none the less ... try pinching you ear lobe.

Works for me!
