Depends on the type of injury. If we're talking about a complete severed spinal cord at T7 level, then the person would be paralyzed from the belly and down, including both legs.
If the T7 vertebra suffered a compression fracture or chance fracture, leading to a swollen disc and impingement of the T7 nerve, this is where it becomes questionable. Since the human nervous system is highly variable from one person to the next, either one, several, or no organs are affected. Typically, pancreas, and part of the intestines are innervated by T7 spinal nerve. T7 also innervates part of the intercostals and abdominal muscles.

If the spine is fractured at the 7th Thoracic Vertebrae then a person may be parallelized from the waist down. An injury to that part of the back does not always denote parallelization however.

First, how bad would the fracture be?
Even though it's fractured doesn't mean instant paralyzation, or any paralyzation. Paralyzation only occurs when there is damage to the spinal column...
Thoracic 7 would be the midsection down probably because it's too low to be protecting the part that controls the arms.
I'm not a doctor but I've had close family break their neck and learned a lot about it.
Some advice if you have broken vertebrae or in the future do...
If they give you a brace DO NOT TAKE IT OFF FOR ANYTHING
these questions confuse me because i can't tell if they're situation based or theoretical

None don't have to be. It depends on alot of different things. But most of the time if it is really bad it would be from that point down. Maybe just one side maybe both.It really depends.
