My husband used too much grout sealer. Actually he used grout sealer first and didn't like the color. It didn't get as dark as the color we had chosen, so he went back on top with color enhancing sealer. Most of it sat on top and he took a mop and spread it all over my new porcelain tile. It slick and waxy. How can I get this off without stripping the sealer out of the grout? I wanted porcelain because I have a pool and didn't want people to slip down on ceramic when they were wet. This is slicker than ceramic. I'm not happy about it.

It is not outside. We tiled the entire 1st floor and people come inside from the pool to go to the bathroom. That's why I didn't want a slick tile.

DIY DOC, The grout we chose was nutmeg brown and it was pretty dark on the sample card. However when we got it down and sealed it it looked more pinkish untill he put the enhancing sealer on it. With the enhancing sealer it was more like the color we actually picked. The color enhancing sealer greatly improved the look it just made the tile slick. He's been boiling water on the stove and mopping it up with that and it is slowly getting better and better.
