Both people need to agree that sex is not the most important thing in a relationship, however they also need to know that sex or lack of sex will ruin a relationship just as fast as infidelity. Guys (as a general rule) want sex all the time. But, we need a break sometimes too. I guess everyone needs to agree that they will have sex, and just because they don't get it when they want it doesn't mean their having it with someone else.

Depends on a lot of things, how old you are, how long you have been with the person, have you been with someone before, why you are doing it, etc. However, it can ruin certain situations and completely wreck things if it is too soon or done for all the wrong reasons (i.e. to make someone like you more or love you, you think you have to, the other person pressures you and so on) but, it can also be the greatest part of your relationship, a way to connect with the person on another level and to become comfortable around that person helps the relationship. But only if its the right time and the right person.

Sex was designed for more then making babies. Sex helps to bind a couple together. It makes a closer bond between the couple. God was pretty smart when he came up with this plan. He wanted couples to stay together for the protection of the off spring.

You didn't give your age. Having sex when you are too young can cause all kinds of emotional trauma, especially if you are not in a permanent relationship.

Building those kind of bonds, and then breaking up can be very traumatic.

I personally think that sex should only be had between a married couple. It helps express the love between two people. Yes it is great in a relationship but it should be done under the right circumstances. Just my opinion. Im sure others would disagree.

If there's as much communication in their relationship as their is sex... well, more communication actually. That means they're bonding on more than one level which is good. But if there's just a lot of sex, I imagine that isn't the best for a relationship. That's merely a physical action that plays with your emotional state.

if the relationship is strong and true and the two involved are old enough and responsible enough to engage in this behavior then sex could be wonderful for a relationship. But you have to have a strong mental and emotional relationship for it to really be really good physically

If you're young or old, it could be the main reason for the relationship. A guy stuck with me for a long time because the sex was good, but when another girl batted her eyelashes at him he went with her. If he/she is truly your friend first, then it is good, I learned that lesson.

I think that sex is better saved for a marriage. There will be too many relationships before you get married and It is not necessary to F**k everybody you spend time with.

i don't think its bad, but i don't think it should become a part of the relationship until both partners feel stable with eachother. Once you touch someone, it adds a whole new dimension of emotion, and you wouldn't want a relationship to be completely based off of the physical
