Everytime we meet my bro-in-law, I feel so uncomfortable. I cant avoid meeting him because we all have to meet at my parents-in-law house for celebration. Sigh.... I just wonder how n when will be reunited n be at peace with one another?

Everyone does not get along and sometimes personalities clash... i'd say smile, act like a lady and enjoy everyone else's company.

You can be personable... everyone on earth is not going to like us 100% of the time.

The only way this situation is going to be fixed is through dialogue. He's probably as uncomfortable as you are and is hoping that someone will break the ice. By simply acknowledging the problem out loud to him, you take the first step to breaking down the barrier. Invite him out for a beer or a coffee on neutral ground. Or even call him on the phone. Just take the first step and the rest will take care of itself.

It is good to clarify whatever that is bothering you, clear it and move on, instead of feeling uncomfortable each time all these years.

Whatever the incident, clear it and make a good end to it, so that the next meeting be a pleasant one.

why not break the ice and start communicating? by speaking and solving the differences? shy....hesitating...loose face....well someone has to make a move to find out if there still a bit of hope left?

if not, might as well forget about it and move on. the move is up to you 2.

talk , talk and more talk. Someone needs to raie it to the surface and u then have to express how u feel and of course allow him his say. If u want it resolved u should keep that in mind and tell him u want it resolved when u chat
