Who is the "Stone rejected"?

Jesus Christ.

The "builders" were the Jewish establishment that had built the foundation of faith that Jesus used as a springboard to save mankind from sin. They rejected Him, the corner stone of faith, but He became the chief stone as He now reigns from Heaven.
