I'm in love with my guy friend and I don't know I'm so confused.
I've had crushes but I've never been in love.
i want to tell him, but i don't know how.
I can't think , and it feels like i have to concentrate on breathing. the only thing i can get out of my mouth are random things that pop in my head.
how can i tell him
and should i tell him in person or over the phone?
Guys how would you prefer it?

Somethingn this important should never be done over the phone. Person to person is the only way to go here.
If you feel this strongly about him, you might want to ask yourself how he'll react to your news. If you think he'll welcome it then you have nothing to fear! If you think he might be a little hesitant, then you have to ask yourself if you are ready for any type of rejection.
Either way, you'll never know until you try. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take in life. Even if he turns you down cold, at least you'll know.

depends how old you are 12-18 i think you can get away on the internet or by phone. However, I’m 21 and I know I have to ask a girl out in person. But I do know from experance that you should know if the guy likes you or not. He should be putting off signs. If he has AIM it should be really easy. That way you can ask him and like say OMG OMG OMG out loud until he responds. And if he says he only likes you as a friend then you can cry in your own house. Lol Best of luck for you

There is something that I tend to live by, an opportunity not taken is an opportunity missed. If you do not approach him how do you know how he feels towards you? this is an opportunity that comes once in a while and do not miss it. Make sure that it is only you and him some where and then tell him how you feel, something like lets say his name is john. John I have had these different Feelings about our relationship and I do not know how to tell you exactly how I can tell you with out not trying to make sense. I feel that I am growing closer to you and I feel that you and I should take it one more step in our relationship and start dating Each other, How do you feel about progressing our relationship?.
Everyone does not like hearing the word no, it is a fact of life but you have to keep your mind open and relaxed when presented with this type of situation.

I have the same feelings, but for a close female friend of mine. Very confusing. I feel for you. I plan on telling her too, but I'm definitely going to do it in person, and as a guy, I would prefer it in person. It makes the whole experience that much more special. Hope it goes well for you! Dont do it over the phone. You might want to do it either in a letter that you put your heart into or face to face. Tell him how you feel and why. You cant just say you like him and expect him to say the same. And dont pressure him to anything. Let him think about it and if he feels the same way GREAT. If he doesnt please be nice about it and try to live peacefully. Dont make it akward although that might be inevitable. Like I tell my friends all the time. "Hope for best, expect the worse"

Tell him in person. If you do it over the phone you won't be able to see his reaction or body language, which plays a big part in showing you his true feelings.

The best thing to do is ask him out somewhere and see how the night goes keep hold of the LOVE word when you get over the feelings of lust you might realise LOVE.

Girl tell him in person before you pop lol!! I think you need to let him out. Try your best not to freak him out, keep it casual take him out to your favorite hang out like a starbucks... and let him know calmly and maturely how you feel for him and if you can possibly take it to the next level... good luck hunn also keep it in mind it will change your relationship with him forever do be ready for that!!!

If you tell him over the phone, it'll be easier for you.
If you tell him in person, it'll be better for both of you if it's real. That's the risk you run in relationships. My major concern is, if you've never been in love before... how do you know this is it? Could just be a stomach bug ;o)

1. you are not in love. you are in lust. 2. dont tell him you love him, thats just weird. if hes single, I say go for it. when your alone hanging out, hold his hand, or look at his mouth when u talk. hell get the hint. just remember that u are not in love. you are young, and have a crush. you may love they way u feel with him, love his personality, ect,. but ur not in love, if u can seperate your feelings youll be better off, or atleast are less vulnerable to unreal expectations of what will happen from here on out.
