What purpose would we serve? Are we simply amusing, or do we have a higher purpose?

Dear goinupru,k
I'm surprised that I'm responding to you. The website joke section is kind of nice. I'm very skeptical, but I'll look over this website a little more. No promises.... (I’m a sucker for humor!)

Dear Jilan A,
Logic would be good. But whatever answer you feel is best....
Peace (that's always good).

My personal feeling is the being we call "God" is so big, and so vast that "God" doesn't know what he/she/it is...in order to find out what he/she/it is, "God" creates, and also lives, explores, and experiences things through the creations. Everything that happens here, and elsewhere goes back to the Creator eventually and becomes a part of the whole..."God" creates, and also gives the creations power to create as well, and our creations go back to the whole as well... every thing that was created through the energy both the "good" and the "bad" gives shape and definition to the being we call "God"...

Humans exist very differently than was first intended

in the first instance they were to replenish the earth
to fill it

but the earth was also very different then

Now to fulfil Satan's sadistical plan, is the earth permitted to continue, with God's longsuffering following close behind

God will allow all of humanity to totally reject Him and hate him , before his next plan
Revelations will enlighten you of what this plan is

then no one can say , "God, you did not tell me , nor did you give me adequate warning"

It will be seen, Like it or lump it , God will prevail

I see a few people (five) got the answer correct (above me). Our God is a Creator God. He Loves to Create. He Creates what He Loves and He Loves what He Creates. He wants His Creations to enjoy their Created status, too. I do not believe He Creates His Creations *just* so that they might Worship Him. However, there *is* great joy in Worshiping Our Creator. ;-)

God bless.

We are created to have fellowship with Him and to cooperate with Him in HIS plans and purposes. Its awesome that He would even include us in those plans....and an honor to be allowed to understand the secret things He has for His people today. We have a very high calling. Find out what it is for yourself.

We exist for the sole purpose to answer the question you have just posed. Which ironically isn't even close to being the same for everybody.

My guess is so that he (or she) could have a reason for existing. So you made this thing called Earth (According to the bible), now what?
Hmm...I'll create people! That way, they'll depend on me and I'll depend on them.

It's kinda like throwing a party, but you need people to have a party.

He's a sadist, like a kid burning ants with a magnifying glass...actually, given the description of him by most religions, maybe that IS the problem - he's still a baby god and hasn't grown up!
