play with an Ouija board, or any of those things that you were told would lead you to certain death and damnation?

Turns out, none of that stuff works. Does religious fanaticism depend on cowardice and lack of intellectual curiosity to survive?

I did all those things, and as you said, nothing happened. Religion is a form of social control, that is all. It's for people who don't want to question anything.

I grew out of this kind of *reasoning* when I was 5, sorry to see you did not...
good luck chasing your *intellectual* tail... it will become tiresome after a while, I hope it is soon...
EDIT: grind your organ without using a crank, it was bitten too many times... by mental dwarfs such as yourself... you are too funny...your tricycle tires need air, hop along, skipper...

I don't think so - too afraid of him back then. This of course was before I realized that religion is fear-based and that it was all working perfectly in my case when I was a youngster.

As an adult, I now know what "works" and does not. I also find it amazing that many well educated adults still believe in a God. Their intellect survived quite well.
