Leave, if he forces it in you anywhere and hurts you then he is a jerk. It isn't about the size, it is about how he uses it. 8 inches isn't really that big. If he was more gentle with you and took more time then it would help a lot. But doesn't sound like this guy is interested in how you feel. So dump him for a better penis (they really are everywhere)
