I was thinking of leaving the guy I like a picture comment on Myspace and telling him he has an amazing smile. I think he knows I like him because the other night I was talking to our mutual friend at youth group and he called the guy I like over and said, "She's been dying to talk to you." So would telling him he has an amazing smile creep him out and make him think I'm obsessed, or would he like it? Would an adjective besides "amazing" be better?

Well if a mutual friend called this guy over, and said "She's been dying to talk to you" and you guys spoke, I think he knows you like him. I think the smile thing might be a bit... different. But it depends on how and where you said it.

If you left it as a comment on his myspace, other people may see it, and if he has another girl in mind (no offense), he might not want HER to see it.

The best bet would be to send him a message saying how it was nice talking to him the other day and that you're wondering if he wants to go out some time. And then after you ask that, maybe say that you think he's a cool guy and has a great smile. Don't JUST say great smile -- throw in that he's a cool guy, or a nice guy, or something.

Saying he has an "amazing" smile could be a little strong - saying that he has a good smile sounds better in my opinion. I had a girl leave a similar comment about my photo on MySpace and it made me feel good, even though I only ever want friendship.

Well, it depends on how he has been acting toward you. Has he been responding positively toward you? If yes, then go ahead. If he is sending mixed messages or negative messages, then I would not leave a comment. Maybe just say "Nice smile" or "beautiful smile" rather than "amazing". It is not as foward. GOOD luck! God bless!

Not really saying he has an amazing smile is considered a compliment if you would have said somethign about his body or something that would make him think you like him

i definitely wouldn't use "amazing" this early... especially if u don't know that he likes u. in fact idk about the pic comment at all... maybe y'all should just talk first (im or messaging on myspace is acceptable too) i would save the pic comment for later.

unless y'all are already friends... then it would be ok to use a milder adjective like "nice" or "handsome"

Go talk to him in person. If you do it over the Internet that is about as uncomfortable as leaving a message on his answering machine. Just be casual. Don't come on too strong. Just friendly.

As an old fogey, I think it would be much better to say it to his face. Amazing is a fine word.

no i think amazing is perfect! he wont be at all freaked by that. maybe even include " and i cant wait to see it again" then he would really know you like him and that your not just being "nice". go for it! i hope all goes well

Well, if your fear of him thinking you're obsessed is realistic, then I would keep it more subtle, such as "you have a nice smile." If he responds enthusiastically then you can take it from there.

No i don't think saying he have a nice smile would creep him away, i think it would be ok.
