The philosophical explanation of karma can differ slightly between traditions, but the general concept is basically the same. It is usually understood as a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do. The results or 'fruits' of actions are called karma-phala. Karma is not about retribution, vengeance, punishment or reward; karma simply deals with what is. The effects of all deeds actively create past, present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to others. In religions that incorporate reincarnation, karma extends through one's present life and all past and future lives as well.

Just the way you look sincerely to a person and then throw smile at him, it is only one in a hundred probably who will not smile back. What you throw up must come down ( just make sure you are out of range when it drops especially if it is a stone or a hard obhect.)

Yes, I do believe in karma, however I would hardly call your incident karma-related. People lose their remotes all the time.

I totally believe in Karma... I can't imagine going through life not understanding what Karma is, has been, and always will be.

What are the chances someone took yours to begin with and they just repeated the act since they'd done it before.

As for me... believe in karma in only a symbolic sense.

I do believe in it. Whenever I do something bad to someone, it comes back to me almost instantly. And when people do something bad to me, all I have to do is smile and watch their karma get them. The universe rocks. ;)
