Lean, not too big, and kind of dangerous-looking, this dog jumped into my arms licking me in the face. Answers to the name of "Remy" or "Remon". What do you think. His owner is on his boat.

I'm sorry, not to imply I'm taking the dog away from its owner, only that there was an instant bond. Maybe this doesn't mean much.

You must have good psychic energy as far as the dog is concerned. You may be the type of person animals get really friendly vibes from. You may just love animals at least dogs a lot, or that breed of dog a lot, and the dog recognizes that instinctually.

Well does the guy take care of his dog? Does he feed him , does he let him wander the neighborhood? If he lets the dog wander the neighborhood while he's on his boat he's not a good dog owner. Ask him for the dog if you think he'll give it to you. If you don't think he'll give the dog to you and you feel like you are saving the dog steal him. He is obviously your dog anyway.

Not to be picky, but I dont really understand your question. Are you trying to decide whether or not to give the dog back to his owner, or something else?
