I can go out drinking all night, get drunk and go to bed semi sober and still throw up in the morning. How can I prevent throwing up in the morning like clockwork? Do not say don't drink so much, because even when I don't get drunk I still end up throwing up in the morning. Does anyone else have this problem?

I drink about 2 times a month so I don't have a drinking problem...thank you. Like I said, I throw up even when I HAVEN'T had a lot to drink (I'm not even drunk) and still end up throwing up in the morning. I wanted to know what I can do to prevent this. New Years is coming up and I don't want to deal with this.

thats ur body tellin u not to have that. maybe what ur drinkin is too strong for u. make sure u eat at least 2 hrs before partying and try mixed drinks (diaquaries) or something like wine. also dont mix liquors. for ex, if u r drinkin beer stick to that, if ur drinkin brandy stick to that, gin, stick to that. u also have to know ur limit. i know that if i have two really good drinks that are not watered down, im cool, cause if i get the 3rd one, im gonna be sick the next day. i think the fact that u dont do it often is why ur body rejects it and it may cause a lil alcohol poisoning. jus dont over do it. dont get drunk.

You are drinking too much. There is still alcohol in your stomach when you go to sleep, which goes into your bloodstream after you go to bed. So, while you are sleeping, you are getting drunker.

1) Cut down on the amount you are consuming.
2) Eat something (preferably starchy) before you go to bed to absorb some of the alclohol.
3) Alternate each drink with water. That will actually make you drunker, and you consume less alcohol since it gets into your bloodstream quicker. But it also gets out of your body quicker too.

Yeah but the trick is to drink water while you are drinking, also having some bread with it before bed with water is super helpful
I've only had this happen to me a few times after a TON of drinking so I think you should be more aware of how often this happens to you

If you throw up in the morning, you've had too much to drink.
One thing that helps me to not have a hangover, is drinking a quart of milk after a lot of drinking. You'll have to do this over the period of about an hour, or you'll throw up right then.

water and lots of it. I usually drink a few glasses of water, and keep a large bottle of water or gatorade by my bed just in case i wake up during the night. it will help you rehydrate and hopefully not throw up.

Its because the sediments is laying to heavy on your tummy. Yes we have all gone thru it. Take an antacid before bed...to cut down the stomach acid the alcohol is causing.

maybe your allergic to whatever your drinking. my friend has a sensitive tummy and she has found that vodka and cranberry works best for her. if your sticking to one favorite drink, I think you should first try something else for a night.

You need to throw up. If you are drinking that much you need to consider counseling.
