If God did know, then why did he pick the Jews to be his Chosen People?

Can god make a rock so big that he can't move it? If Superman and god got into a fight, who would win? Nothing about religion makes sense and questions like this just go to point out the just how ludicrous it is to believe that there is a god.

Certainly!

The Hebrews are under the old covenant "commandments"

They are still the chosen people.

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill." Matt 5:17

Finally, how else would the gentile (non-hebrew) ever receive salvation?
Could you imagine if the Hebrews accepted Jesus?

Oh, my~ where would that leave us, the gentile?

During the Roman empire the hebrew people like many were slaves, the romans would never accept a slave God!
The Romans during this time were vicious pagans, they could never bow to a slave's God.
However, once the Hebrews denied Christ and the Romans noted this dislike they were more interested in Jesus since He did perform a multitude of true miracles; no denial.

Sadly, Pilate through fear of the out of control hebrew crowd decided to agree and have Christ crucified.
Although, we cannot truly support the Roman believers during this time since over 350 years would pass before Christianity became allowable within the empire.

He knows the numbers of hairs on your head, Jesus' head as well.

There is a lot of history involved to explain WHY the Jewish people were "chosen", which really they were not, the were born of heritage, of a lineage.

The Jews rejected Christ as the Messiah, God then gave his gift of "salvation" to everyone, gentiles alike.

Yes.

I wish I was smart enough to understand God's Wisdom.

Remember that many Jews did accept Jesus.

However God made the promise unto Abraham, so all those blessing occured because God is fulfilling His promise to Abraham.

God knew that the majority of the Jews would reject Jesus. There has always been an elect "remnant" of Jews who are saved.

Romans 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Why did He choose them?

Deuteronomy 7:7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: 8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

It does seem a little silly to send him down to a nation which he knew would only kill him. Oh well, suppose it worked out for the best because his teachings live on. Even if the Jews did kill Christ

Yes, God did know because He is Omniscient meaning that He is all knowing.
( even the future)

I don't know why God chose the Jews to be His own people.

God's people are God's people all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God it is the reason God came to this world as a man to pay the penalty man incurred with his sinful flesh.

Of course. That's why God provided the law that states what to do with false prophets - this applies directly to Jesus.
