The number one reason to study to have and understand as much as we can is found in Hebrews 6 : And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.So we see from this verse that God want s us to have faith in Him that He is a rewarder . He want us to know that when we seek Him he will reward us and He wants us to seek Him and believe that He is and learn who He is and get to know Him and when we seek we will find.1 corinthians 13:13 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. By this verse we see that the word of Jesus will cause our faith to increase. Speak the word,study the word,listen to the word and our faith will increase and we can be more blessed and be more of a blessing. God bless you.

You should study about faith because it allows you to pursue spirituality in a reasoned, logical way, and because it forces you to think about what you believe, rather than just taking someone's word that everything in a holy book is the absolute truth and the only correct way to worship. Studying about faith exposes you to a universe of ideas that is wider than just the ideas expressed by your own faith. This allows you to think about your faith and to grow in spirituality.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Or is it just to learn more about the God Who loved us so much He gave us his only begotton Son?

In the Bible it says "seek and ye shall find". Everyone should study their faith not just Christians.
