There's this girl that sits behind me in my 1st period class, and I've liked her ever since she's sat behind me. For weeks I didn't talk to her because I was too shy, but eventually I turned around and just said, "Hey, how's it goin ?" because I knew I would get nowhere with her if I didn't speak. I was very nervous when I did, but I did it. I have her screen name, but she is always away, so I have never gotten to talk to her on it. She doesn't have a MySpace. Anyway, I'm sure she knows by now that I like her, but I know she doesn't like me back because people have told me. Is there anything I can do to get her to like me ? I'm on Christmas Break now, so I won't get to talk to her or even see her for a while.

I've left her plenty of messages on her away message, but she never responds back. I did ask her in person about going online, and she said she's just never on. The only time she ever responded back was when I asked if it was the right screen name, and she said it was, but I was away at that time.

First you need to make it seem natural for her to be talking to you. This may take a while but if you really like her it'll be worth it. First become more outgoing, not just towards her but other people. Keep that up for a while and if possible do it around where she may see you or her friends may. Don't try to make her jealous though, that never works in the long run. Eventually it wo't be akward for her to talk to you cause hey, your a friendly outgoing guy! Give it time and she's start to become more comfortable with you. This already won;t be a case of an instant crush for her, but it can become the type that grows gradually. Good luck!

Leave her alone. You look so desperate and I can almost guarantee that while she may be 10% flattered, she is thinking you're a psycho. If you leave her message after message and she never writes back - that means she doesn't like you. Move on. You can't make a girl like you. Sorry.

find out a common interest and get some talking points in. If she likes a sport or tv show, or even how much you hated the english test...anything that you can talk about that you both know about. Don't worry now if she doesn't like you, it's probably only because she doesn't know you. Just get those talking points in; it worked for me...

I remember those situations. All you can do is just plain ask her in person, not online if she'd like to do something sometime. If she says no, you just have to back off or she'll think you're really weird. At least then you can say you tried.Maybe just trying being friends first.
