I keep having unwanted thoughts, like what would happen if I hurt someone I love and it turned out fatal. I am a good person, with not intent at all of hurting anyone. This sounds totally stupid but I'm scared the devil is going to posess me. Am I going to hell? Can I be saved? What should I do?

Well, one can't judge or tell you if you are going to hell or not. I would hope that having unwanted thoughts would be understood as something going on with you and would be innocent. If these thoughts are strong and really uncontrollable or just interrupting your days then I would seek professional help.

If you are scared the Devil will possess you, then don't give him an open door to do it. When you get these thoughts, say either in your head or out loud; Jesus protect me, over and over again. Then say; get behind me Satan.

You are not going to Hell, only God decides that and you have done nothing intentionally to warrant going to Hell.

You need to have control over your thoughts now, you can do it, focus daily. When you wake up, ask God to help you with your thoughts and continue to ask as the day goes on, but remember you have free will and control too.

Question: Are you compulsive about things? Do you have obsessive tendencies? Those thoughts are often linked to OCD. If you display other traits, I would see a therapist or psych. Otherwise, you might just be having some kind of self-exploration issues. I don't think it is unhealthy to think in certain ways, just act on those thoughts.

Always protect your mind, you can be invaded by spirit creatures. Some have had them enter them. You must make sure that you are not practicing spiritism in any form, this attracts them to you, even if you think it is a safety like a cross or a rossary. These objects get their attention. Stay away from any witchcraft and fortune telling. Protecting your mind means filling it with good stuff too. Read a portion of your Bible everyday. Learn who Jehovah is. I hope you fight through this, don't give up. It is nasty what demons do to people.

It's OCD. Google OCD and read about it. It will make you feel better to know you're not going crazy.

Oh, and about going to Hell...Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour and you won't need to worry about that anymore. Romans 10:9 (Contemporary English Version)
Contemporary English Version (CEV)

So you will be saved, if you honestly say, "Jesus is Lord," and if you believe with all your heart that God raised him from death.

Hell is a condition you create by falsely believing you are separate from God.

Otherwise, there is no hell.

Belief in separation from God/ Truth/ Self/ Enlightenment..... is hell.
