My parents are seriously psychotic
I'm 19 yrs old (20 in 2 months) and have dated my boyfriend for the past 3 and a half yrs.
They still make me ask when I can go and see him, usually say no, and hate his guts because sometimes when I haven't seen him in weeks I will sneak out of the house to see him.
They blame him for picking me up when I sneak out of the house. I have no car and no license b/c they won't allow me 2.
He has been more than nice 2 them, done food shopping and errands for them among other things
I asked to see him 2night and they said no, and said that if I try to sneak out of the house they are going to call the police.
I have never done anything bad in my life no drugs, crazy partying, etc.
They have NO reason to treat me this way, we were going to go to his house to play guitar hero.
This situation is getting worse and worse, what can I do about it?

You could move out of the house, or just keep sneaking out. The sneaking out thing works like a charm as long as you do it at night.

Remember never to act defensive to your parents about your boyfriend. Ensure that you don't prohibit them in any way from possibly liking him eventually.

First of all you are 19 so your of age to move out...if your paying them rent then why not get a place of your own or move in with your bf..and after you move out they couldnt say anything...that sounds pretty reasonable to me...

You are a legal adult! They need to quit being so overbearing and let you make your own descisions in life, even if you make some wrong ones. You'll never learn anything if you can't decide for yourself.

If you can and care about him enough i would move out. you're an adult now. so maybe if you can't move out try having a talk with your parent's telling them how you feel. But i'm not saying that will work

there must be a reason why your parents either don't trust you or trust your boyfriend....

have you tried siting down with them and talking about how you are feeling and if there is a way to compromise?

once you are over 18, you can LEGALLY move out, and be responsible for yourself. HOWEVER, if you choose to remain at home and have them pay your bills, you are obliged to live by their rules. It is YOUR choice.
