It's not sexual, it's a dominance thing. She's trying to prove she's dominant over the others. All animals hump to prove they are dominant over other animals.

A 3 month old needs puppy food until at least 6 months. Any high quality puppy food will do. Iams smart puppy is great. Science diet puppy is great, Blue seal LCR Puppy is great. Natural Banance Puppy from walmart is really good. These are all, all natural foods. Stay away from the junk purina, pedigree and such they are loaded with meat by products and you dont want to know what they are. Dont get cought up with all the designer dog foods out there they are expensive and hard to get sometimes. Read the labels before you buy any dog food.

The dog is displaying dominance. It is her house and she is showing the other animals that she is the boss.
This is not good; if it is allowed to continue she may try to hump humans.(Legs)
You need to let her know that this behavior is unwanted by you. You have to become the pack leader over your dog.

Don't worry about it. Animals just don't have the same point of view as people she will stop doing it and move on to something more interesting before you know it. If you want gently give her a shove and an tell her you disapprove. As she learns your body language for disapproval she will be able to apply it to other things you don't want her to do. But remember just like little kids she will test you so stay consistent

The minute your dog is 12 months get it sprayed/nuetered ect at vet unless your breeding it, in the mean time you need to think about training get advice from vet also.if this becomes habit youll not eventually be able to train it out of it.so start training now good luck :)

My 7-year-old female dog does that also. She is a cocker spaniel. It''s really annoying. They should not be humping things, especailly females.

Well....... I guess she does what she does, but I don't think the dog will have a litter until she is about 6 monthes old, but I also don't think she would have a litter to a cat.
